Medium: Oil on Board


“And where I go you know, and the way you know.” John 14:4


On the trail that Jesus likely walked through the Galilean countryside are forks veering off in diametrically opposite directions.


To stay on the trail and reach the desired destination of either Cana or Nazareth, there would be piles of rocks to serve as signs at these forks with one marked with a cheery yellow arrow!


It was easy to get lost if you were not observant, but easy to find your way back to the trail if you were alert to the painted arrows.


They reminded of me Jesus's warning that broad is the way that leads to destruction but narrow and easy to miss is the way to life!


May this painting be a reminder of that choice every human has to make while living on earth before facing eternity.
