"But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

Luke 24:29-31

The end of a day, with the lights on Tiberias twinkling in the distance, this view of the Sea of Galilee holds a hint of  poignancy.

I remembered how the "day was far spent" before the travelers to Emmaus recognized Jesus in their midst. How often are we also slow to recognize Him, His working in our midst, His plans for our lives, His love for us and so much more?
